Do not fear.

God is the one and only Rock that never moves. If our foundation is in Him, then we will stand. He is the anchor of our souls and though we have troubles in this world, there is nothing that can come between us and Him.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-40.

We will struggle but God is in control and He will never let it become too much for us.

Do not fear the evil one.

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4.

We must fear God but not the evil one. Our fear of God should be much greater than any fear of evil. It says fear God and shun evil. Shun evil, but do not fear it because God is your protection.

"Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil." Proverbs 3:7

We must hate evil, shun evil and avoid evil, but if we fear it, we are suggesting that it is more powerful than God.

"Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil." Proverbs 16:6.

"To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech." Proverbs 8:13.

"'Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.'" Psalm 91:14.

This is what God says to all of us, no matter what dark place we find ourselves in:

"For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah 41:13

Simply I leave you with these words straight from God: "Do not fear."
